Two co-workers, Brain and Ted are talking about an upcoming promotion. However, Ted has been so busy these days that he hasn't really given it much thought.
We go now to the meeting that was mentioned in the previous dialogue. Mr. Stanley announces his decision and it is, to say the least, surprising to both Ted and Brian.
Right after the meeting Brian and Sarah are talking about the decision Mr. Stanley made. This is their reaction.
This is still the same day as in the previous dialogues. Ted is still at the office, working over-time. Barbara, who forgot her bag, comes in and discovers Ted working.
Ted finally comes home late in the evening. His live-in girlfriend, Jamie, is concerned about how much work he's been doing lately.
About a week after her promotion, Barbara stops by Grace's office and invites her out for a cigarette. She then consults Grace about some of her concerns with the marketing department.
Ted and Brian are talking about Barbara. It has been about a month or so since she became the Marketing Vice-President, and Brian hates the way she's running the show.
The meeting mentioned in the previous dialogue is now already in progress. Ted expresses his frustration about the meeting to Barbara.
After his comments at the meeting, Ted gets a letter from Grace outlining some of the company's concerns about his behavior. Here he is talking to Sarah about the letter.
