Scene 4-1 上級
Two co-workers, Brain and Ted are talking about an upcoming promotion. However, Ted has been so busy these days that he hasn't really given it much thought.
Scene 4-2 上級
We go now to the meeting that was mentioned in the previous dialogue. Mr. Stanley announces his decision and it is, to say the least, surprising to both Ted and Brian.
Scene 4-3 上級
Right after the meeting Brian and Sarah are talking about the decision Mr. Stanley made. This is their reaction.
Scene 4-4 中級
This is still the same day as in the previous dialogues. Ted is still at the office, working over-time. Barbara, who forgot her bag, comes in and discovers Ted working.
Scene 4-5 上級
Ted finally comes home late in the evening. His live-in girlfriend, Jamie, is concerned about how much work he's been doing lately.
Scene 4-6 上級
About a week after her promotion, Barbara stops by Grace's office and invites her out for a cigarette. She then consults Grace about some of her concerns with the marketing department.
Scene 4-7 上級
Ted and Brian are talking about Barbara. It has been about a month or so since she became the Marketing Vice-President, and Brian hates the way she's running the show.
Scene 4-8 中級
The meeting mentioned in the previous dialogue is now already in progress. Ted expresses his frustration about the meeting to Barbara.
Scene 4-9 上級
After his comments at the meeting, Ted gets a letter from Grace outlining some of the company's concerns about his behavior. Here he is talking to Sarah about the letter.
Scene 4-10 上級
Ted goes to Mr. Stanley to talk about the letter, and surprisingly Mr. Stanley is less than sympathetic.
