Scene 36
中級
Maria and her friend Sharon are having lunch together.
Sharon: Don't you think it's hot in here?
Maria: No…maybe its hotter around where you're sitting. Shall we swap seats?
Sharon: Oh, can we? (They exchange seats.) Thanks…
Maria: Any better?
Sharon: No, I'm still sweating.
Maria: Are you OK? You don't have a temperature, do you?
Sharon: No, actually, I've been feeling a bit funny recently. It's like my body can't regulate heat properly. I sometime feel unbearably hot, but it doesn't last that long…it's like a hot flash…is it menopause?
Maria: Don't be daft. You're way too young for that. We both are.
Sharon: But I heard a frightening story…women could pass menopause a lot earlier if they don't give birth…my emotional roller-coaster could be one of the symptoms…
Maria: If you're worried that much, you should see a doctor, but my guess is you're just worrying yourself sick, as usual.
