Jennifer: Just a few more minutes, darling. I’m just doing my hair.

Bill: You said that 15 minutes ago! Come on! If we don’t get cracking soon, we’re going to miss the speeches.

Jennifer: You don’t really want to listen to the speeches do you, darling? I always find them so boring.

Bill: Yes, but the boss is going to make some announcements about the restructuring and it’s not going to look good if I’m the only employee who isn’t there to hear him.

Jennifer: OK, I’m almost done. Just let me put some finishing touches to my make-up.

Bill: Come ON!

Jennifer: There, all ready. No need to get so tetchy, Bill. I don’t want to look like something the cat dragged in. Now, shall we go?
