Tina: Excuse me.
Staff: Yes, can I help you?
Tina: I’ve been waiting for my suitcase but it hasn’t appeared.
Staff: Can I see your baggage claim ticket?
Tina: Sure, it’s right… Hang on a minute… That’s strange, I could swear I put it in my purse.
Staff: Well, then do you have your boarding pass there?
Tina: Yes, here it is.
Staff: Oh, I see the problem. You’re at the wrong carousel. This is the carousel for Flight TM 345. You need the carousel for Flight TM 545.
Tina: Oh, really? Where can I find that?
Staff: It’s right over there, next to the escalators.
Tina: Thank you.

"Can I see your〜"で、「〜を見せていただけますか？」という決まり文句。
ex: May I see your driver's license?

Hang on a minute
「ちょっと待って」
"hang on a minute"は、「ちょっと待って」という意味。比較的カジュアルな表現です。"hang on"だけでも「待って」と、ほぼ同じ意味で使われます。「電話を切らないでおく」という意味でも"hang on"を使いますね。
ex: "Excuse me. Is Mr.smith there?"
"Hang on, please."
「すいません、スミスさんはいらっしゃいますか？」
「ちょっと待ってください」
I could swear I put it in my purse.
「お財布の中に入れておいたハズなのに」
"swear"は「誓う、断言する」という意味の動詞で、"I could swear (that) 〜"で「絶対〜したと断言できる」。証拠はないけど断言できる、というニュアンスです。"I'm sure I put it im my purse"と言い換えることもできます。
ex: I could swear I've seen it before.
