Rex: I have some news that will interest you, Greta.
Greta: Oh yes, and what might that be?
Rex: It concerns your favourite person, Jeff Flavell.
Greta: Eughh! Please tell me he’s gone and got himself fired! I don’t think I can stand much more of his rudeness and BO.
Rex: Oh no, it’s something much more shocking than that. He’s getting married!
Greta: Huh?!! You’ve got to be kidding! Someone actually wants to marry that guy? Who would want to marry a guy who looks like he hasn’t washed once in the last five years?
Rex: Kitty Sewell.
Greta: You mean that really pretty girl in the accounting department? No way! There must be some sort of mistake!
Rex: No mistake. My invitation came in the mail this morning.

「グレタ、キミの興味をそそるニュースがあるよ」
"interest"は、ここでは他動詞として使われていて、「興味を持たせる、興味をひく」という意味です。形容詞系はもちろん、"interesting（興味深い）"
ex: What really interests me is writing down what's in my head.
（自分が興味を持っているのは、頭の中のことを文字に書き写すことです）
It concerns your favourite person, Jeff Flavell.
「キミのお気に入りの、ジェフ・フラベルについてだよ」
"concern"は、動詞で「関係がある」。「心配させる」という意味もあります。ここでは、"It's about your favourite..."と言い換えることもできます。
ex: It concerns me deeply that you are so clearly unsatisfied with your own careers.
（あなたがご自分のキャリアに明らかに満足されていないのがとても気にかかります）
Please tell me he's gone and got himself fired!
「彼がクビになったっていうならぜひ聞きたいわ！」
直訳だと「お願いだから・・・と言って！」という意味で、日本語ではこのような表現はなかなかありませんね。"he's gone"と"got himself fired!"は同じ意味（クビになる）で、ふたつ同時に使われることにより意味が強調されています。
