Salesperson: Good afternoon, sir. May I help you?
Frank: Yes, I’d like to return this sweater please?
Salesperson: Of course, sir. Was there anything wrong with it?
Frank: No. The sweater is fine. It’s just I bought it for a friend, and I wasn’t really sure what size to get, but instead of finding out, I just went ahead and bought the sweater.
Salesperson: I see. So would you like to exchange it for a bigger size?
Frank: Smaller size actually. If you have one of those in a medium, that would be great.
Salesperson: Just let me go and check.

Frank: Great. I’ll take it.
Salesperson: Sure thing. If I could just see your previous receipt, I’ll make the necessary changes.
Frank: Here you are.
Salesperson: Okay, sir. All set. Here’s your new receipt, and your sweater.
Frank: Thank you.

"It's just that..."は「〜は問題ない、ただ・・・」と続けるときによく使う表現です。
ex: It's not that teens can't drive. It's just that bad things happen when teen drivers aren't attentive operating the automobile.
（10代の若者が運転できないということではない。ただ、10代のドライバーが不注意運転をしたときに事故が起きるということだ）

「大きいサイズに交換されますか？」
"exchange something for ..."は、「somethingを・・・と交換する」。"exchange something with ..."だと、「〜とsomthingを交換する」となります。
ex: You can exchange information with people through internet.
（インターネットを通して、いろんな人と情報の交換をすることができます）
You're in luck.
「とてもラッキーです」
"luck"は「運；幸運」という意味で、" in luck"で「（運が）ついている」になります。また、反対の「運が悪い」は "off (out of) luck"と表現します。
ex) I was in luck, as there were interesting and bright people in my life.
（私はツイていた。というのも、私の周りには面白くて頭の良い人たちがいたからです）
Sure thing.
「かしこまりました」
なにかお願い事をされたときの返事として、"Sure thing"をよく使います。これは「いいですよ」「もちろん」「そうだね」などの肯定を表します。より丁寧に言うと"Certainly."。このダイアログに登場する店員は、わりとカジュアルな接客をしているのでしょう。
ex: "Can I have a light?"
"Sure thing."
「ライターを貸してもらえますか？」
「いいですよ」
