M: Phillip, it’s raining today! Why are you wearing sunglasses?
P: I’m trying to hide this.
M: Oh my God! Who gave you that shiner?
P: Well, it’s not really a question of who but…
M: Did you get into a fight or something? Wow, it’s a real beauty!
P: No, it wasn’t a fight…
M: Did you get it playing rugby or something, then?
P: No… not rugby.
M: Well, how did you get it? It must have been something spectacular to
get a black eye like that!
P: Actually, it’s pretty embarrassing. I slipped in the shower and the
towel rail caught the side of my eye.
M: (Laughing) Oh no! You’re right, that IS embarrassing!

「誰って問題でもないんだけど・・・」
"it's not a quetion of 〜"で、「〜の問題ではない」。「〜は重要ではない、〜が原因ではない」というニュアンスです。
ex: It's not a question of money.

もちろん"beauty"は「美、美しいもの」。そこから転じて「見事なもの、すばらしいもの」という意味があり、ここでは「あまりに見事」ということで、反対言葉として使われています。

「そんなに黒くなるなんて、よっぽのことがあったんでしょ！」
"must be"は「〜であるに違いない」という表現ですね。ここではその過去形"must have be"で「〜であったに違いない」という意味になります。
