Dialog

繰り返し聴いて英語の自然なリズムを身につけましょう。

Peter is asking Cheryl about a book he lent her.

P: How are you enjoying that book I lent you, Cheryl?

C: It’s great! You were right when you said it was a riveting read.
I can’t put it down!

P: It’s definitely the best book I’ve read in a long time.
There’s a lot of crap out there now, so it’s great when you come
across a book you can really get your teeth into.

C: I know. It’s been a long time since I read anything that’s
been so absorbing. I’d love to read some of the author’s other
work.

P: Actually, he’s just put a new book out. I’m going to pick up a
copy on the way home tonight so I’ll lend it to you when I’m done
if you like.

C: Really? That’d be great! If it’s anything like this book,
it’ll be great read.

P: Yeah. I can’t wait to get started on it!
