J: Jason

K: I can’t believe Edward cut us down like that! After all the
work we’ve put into the account!

J: He did have some valid points though. I mean, we’ve been so
wrapped up in this project and worried about meeting deadlines
that we haven’t been able to step back and look at our work from
the client’s perspective. I think what he said was pretty fair.

K: What he said was that we should start at square one again Jason!
We have to scrap everything we’ve done for the last month and
start over! Aren’t you even a little bit annoyed that all that
overtime we’ve put in means nothing?

J: Don’t get me wrong Katie. I’m annoyed. But I also think that
if we take Edward’s advice, we can nail this account.

K: Even if it means having to work overtime for another straight
month?

J: Look at it this way, if this account goes well, you and I will
both be lined up for big promotions. If you ask me, a month’s
overtime is a small price to pay.

K: Promotion? Where did you hear that?!

J: I’m good friends with Hattie, Edward’s secretary, and she said
that he was talking about it to her the other week.

K: Well then that changes everything! Back to the drawing board
it is, then!
