Bus Stop
Rita is new in town and is trying to catch a bus to the city centre. She goes to the bus stop near her house and decides to ask a man (Joel) waiting there which bus to take.

Rita is new in town and is trying to catch a bus to the city centre. She goes to the bus stop near her house and decides to ask a man (Joel) waiting there which bus to take.
R: Rita
J: Joel
R: Excuse me. I’m trying to get to the centre of town to do some
shopping. Can you tell me which bus I should take?
J: Well, your best bet is to take the 45A which will let you off at
the train station down town. From there it’s an easy walk to a
bunch of different department stores. Or you can also take the 81
which will let you off at Glenvale Mall, which is a big shopping
complex in town. Depends on what kind of shopping you want to do.
R: Actually I’ve heard of the Glenvale Mall. It’s supposed to be quite
big.
J: It is. You can get just about anything you need there.
R: That sounds great. I think I’ll do that. How often does the 81
come?
J: About every 15 mins during the day. It’s a pretty popular commuter
bus so it runs quite frequently.
R: Perfect. Thanks for your help.
J: No problem.

Well, your best bet is to take the 45A which will let you off at the train station down town.
"your best bet is to 〜"は「一番確実なのは〜することだ」という意味。
"best bet"は「確実な方法、最善の方法、一番のお薦め、安全な手続き」
という意味。
Ex: Your best bet would be to take a bus to Narita airport.
（成田空港行きのバスに乗るのが最善の方法でしょう。）

（そこからは、いろんなデパートに歩いて行くのに楽ですよ。）
"a bunch of"はこの場合「たくさんの、かなりの数の、山ほどの」
という意味。また、「一房の、一束の、一連の」という意味もある。
