Jim: Mr. Trano? what’s going on?

Beck: I’m agent Michele Beck with the Department of Securities Fraud. Your boss, Mr. Trano, contacted us a few weeks ago to report a possible breach of corporate trading laws. We’ve been investigating you and Mr.Newcastle over at Johnson & Richards. Mr.Newcastle has confessed to the whole think and he has named you as one of his co-conspirators.

Jim: He did what!?

Mr.Trano: Now Jim, don’t get excited. I’m afraid the chips are heavily stacked against you on this one. I suggest you co-operate with Agent Beck.
Beck: Do you have anything to say for yourself, James.

Jim: I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. (to himself) I can’t believe he ratted me out.

Beck: James McNeal, you are under arrest for securities fraud. You have the right to remain silent.

(Beck escorts Jim out of the office, and continues reading him his rights).

Mr.Trano: I wish it didn’t have to be this way. What a waste.

We know from the previous dialogue that Mr. Trano called the Department of Securities Fraud. So, in this final dialogue of the series Jim is caught and arrested for his crime. What's worse, his friend Sean has named Jim as someone who helped plan and execute the crime (a co-conspirator). However, it was Sean who approached Jim; they didn't work together to get this insider information. So, while Jim is guilty, Sean has made it seem that Jim had a bigger part in the scandal than he actually does. That's why Jim says, "he ratted me out." To rat someone out means to confess and betray that person. Usually if one person is caught for a crime he will betray his companions in order to get a more lenient sentence. Securities fraud is a type of "white collar crime" which is to say corporate crime.
