「またいつもの悪ふざけでしょ？」
"practical joke"は「悪ふざけ」。ニュアンスとしては、誰かを恥ずかしがらせたりバカにしたりするために仕掛けるトリック。動詞形にすると"play a practical joke"となります。同じ意味の単語で"prank"がありますが、こちらは古風な単語です。
ex: I want to play a practical joke on someone by giving them a bottle which I've farted in.
（こういう悪ふざけをしたいんだ、ボトルにオナラを入れて誰かにあげるの）

and decided to play on the slots for a bit to pass the time.

「時間つぶしにちょっとスロットで遊ぼうとした」
"pass the time"は、「時間をつぶす」という意味のイディオム。同じ意味の表現として、"kill time" "fill in time" という言い方も覚えておきましょう。
ex: Reading is a great way to pass the time.
（読書は暇つぶしにはもってこいだ）

「で、母さんと父さんに新しい家を買ってあげるっていうのはどうよ？」
以前のダイアログにも出てきた"What say 〜?"。「〜はどう思う？、〜しませんか？」という意味でしたね、同意の表現として"What about 〜?"、"What do you say 〜?"、"Why don't you 〜?"などがあります。
ex: What say we split the check?
