Ellie: It’s great to finally see Las Vegas for myself. And I have to say,
everything Penny told me about it is true. There’s so much to see!
Those shops at The Venetian were awesome. And I can’t believe they
actually have gondolas running through the hotel! That would have
been fun to try.

Gordon: What, and have a guy serenade you in front of all those people?
No thanks!

Ellie: What else can we do that doesn’t cost too much?

Gordon: Plenty! The water shows at the Bellagio start at 3:00. They’re
worth checking out. And once it starts to get dark, there are all
sorts of things going on. They put on a show in front of Treasure
Island three or four times an evening.

Ellie: Really? What kind of show?

Gordon: Well, I’m not really sure to tell you the truth. It used to be a
pirate battle but apparently it’s completely different now.

Ellie: And how much does that cost?

Gordon: It’s free! Oh, and I want to take you to Fremont Street tonight.
The mall there is covered by this huge canopy and they play a
light show on it all evening.

Ellie: That sounds like fun! And that’s free too?

Gordon: Sure is! Is there anything else you want to check out?

Ellie: Well, I want to see the shops at Caesar’s Palace too, and I also
want to go to the Stratosphere.

Gordon: The Stratosphere? Oh no, let me guess, you want to ride the Big
Shot?

Ellie: Yeah! Penny says it’s supposed to be the most thrilling ride in
Vegas.

Gordon: The most terrifying, you mean! I had a go on it last time I was
here and it scared the living daylights out of me!

Ellie: But you want to go on it again, don’t you? Come on Gordon!
Don’t be a chicken!

Gordon: Well… I’ll think about it.
