Yukio: This is just terrible.
Tim: Fuck – the people jumping out of the windows, falling silently to death, it makes you choke.
Yukio: It makes you mad, like you want to kill the people responsible, but …
Tim: Yeah, I know the feeling, but exactly – do two wrongs make a right?
Yukio: Indeed, but you can’t just sit back and say, “Don’t do this again.”
Tim: Sure, sure. It’s a real tricky situation; you get the feeling that there’s no good outcome from here.
Yukio: Maybe we’ve made too many mistakes in the past.
Tim: Let’s just hope the population of the world can one day get along, because otherwise that population might eventually commit mass suicide.

（【注】放送禁止用語です。普段はつかわないでくださいね。） ここでは、嫌悪や困惑を表して「ちくしょう！」「いまいましい」 という意味合いで使われています。
it makes you choke
"choke" は感情や人の「息を詰まらせる」という意味で、残酷な情景を見た時などによく使われる表現です。
ex) He was choked with rage.
（彼は激しい怒りがこみ上げてきて、息が詰まった）
Indeed
"Indeed 〜 but..." で譲歩を表して「なるほど、しかし...」という意味になります。「あなたのいいたい事も分かるが、しかし私の意見はこうです」と少し控えめな主張をする時などに使われます。
ex) Indeed it may be so, but it is not so always.
（なるほど、そうかもしれないが、いつもそうとは限らない）
but you can't just sit back and say,
"sit back"は「傍観する」という意味なので、"you can't just sit back"で「見ているだけ＝何もしない訳にはいかない」という意味になります。
Let's just hope the population of the world can one day get along
"get along"は「仲よくやっていく」という意味です。
ex) He and Jim get along well together.
（彼とジムは仲がよい）
that population might eventually commit mass suicide.
この場合の"commit" は「（罪、過失などを）犯す」という意味になります。"mass"は一定の形を持たない 「大きなかたまり、集団」を表します。
