Alice is asking a stranger how to get to the Red River Cafe.
Alice: Excuse me, could you tell me how to get to The Red River Cafe please?
Stranger: Sure. It’s a bit tricky, so I’ll do my best to explain it well. Go straight from here and take the third right. You’ll then pass a hospital on your left before going over a bridge.
Alice: OK,third right, hospital, bridge.
Stranger: After the bridge, you’ll see a park on your left. Go through the park – it’s a bit of a short cut – and when you come out the other side, cross the road and turn left.
Alice: How long will that take?
Stranger: Just five minutes. Walk along the road until you come to a post-box on your right. Just after that is a small road called “Wisher’s Lane.” The Red River Cafe is down there on the left.
Alice: Thanks! I think I remember that!

It's a bit tricky, so I'll do my best to explain it well.
"It's a tricky"。（この場合、「ややこしい」とか「手の込んだ」と言う意味）
ex) It's not easy to solve this math. It's a bit tricky.
（この数学の問題は簡単には解けませんよ。ちょっと、ややこしいですよ。）
You'll pass a hospital on your left before going over a bridge.
"pass"は「通過する」という意味です。また"on your left"は「左に」。"left hand side"（左手に）もよく使われる表現です。
it's a bit of a short cut
"a short cut" で「近道」という意味です。パソコンでもありますね、「ショートカット」。
ex) A: Shall we across the road?
B: Yeah! It's a short cut!
（A: この道を渡ろうか？）
（B: うん！近道だもんね！）
when you come out the other side, cross the road and turn left.
"the other side"で「もう一つの側」。つまりこの場合は「反対側」という意味になります。 また、"come to the other side"で「反対側に来たら」となります。
The Red River Cafe is down there on the left.
ここでは「Cafeがこの道にある」という意味合いで"down"をつけています。
ex) Drive down the street until you see the traffic light.

Stranger: 5分ぐらいですよ。その道を歩いていくとポストが右にあって、ポストを過ぎるとすぐ”Wisher’s Lane”という細い道があります。”The Red River Cafe”はその道の左側にあります。
