Tracy: I’m looking forward to meeting your Aunt Marjorie, Phil. From what I hear, she sounds like a real hard-case!
Phil: Yeah, she’s a lot of fun, and she loves it when we bring our friends to visit. You’ll have to be careful though.
Tracy: Why?
Phil: Well, when she gets too excited, she tends to blab a lot. She can talk the hind leg off a donkey!
Tracy: Oh, that’s no problem! I love a good chat, and your Aunt Marjorie has a lot of interesting stories to tell, from what you tell me.
Phil: She sure does! But just be warned, you won’t be able to get in a word edgewise!
Tracy: No way! She’s not that bad, is she?
Phil: Are you kidding? The last time we went to see her, she rambled on for three hours without a pause! I barely said two words the whole time!

今回のダイアログでは、「話し続ける」という意味の言葉がたくさん出てきましたね。その最後を飾るのが、"ramble on"。これは「長々とおしゃべりする」「とりとめもなく話し続ける」という意味になります。
