Diane, a new member of the mayor's staff, is about to give a press conference for the first time. Roger, a senior staff member, comes to check on things.
Roger: You must be Diane Fielding. Hi. I’m Roger, Roger Dalgleish. Sam sent me down to make sure everything was alright?
Diane: Nice to meet you, Roger. Yeah, everything’s just fine. I’m getting ready for the press conference right now.
Roger: Is this your first time?
Diane: Yes. I’m a bit nervous, actually.
Roger: Everyone is at first. Did you read the briefing?
Diane: Oh yeah. I went over it last night, and I checked it again this morning.
Roger: Good. All the main points should be in there. If the reporters ask you anything outside of that, just say “the mayor’s office has no comment at this time,” and move on to another question.
Diane: Okay. Got it.
Roger: Do you have any last minute questions?
Diane: Oh yes. Should I mention those things in the briefing that the reporters don’t ask about?
Roger: No. Don’t worry about those. Anything not mentioned will be covered in the mayor’s statement tomorrow.
Diane: Great. Thanks for your help, Roger.
Roger: Don’t mention it. Good luck.

I'm getting ready for the press conference right now.
「今は記者会見の準備をしているところです」
"get ready for 〜"で「〜の準備をする、支度をする」。"get prepared for 〜"、"get set for 〜"などという言い方もあります。"press conference"は「記者会見」。"news conference"とも言います。
ex: "May I see you tomorrow?"
"I'm afraid not. I'll be spending the day with my family. It's my son's birthday and I must get ready for the party."

「昨夜見直して」
"go over 〜"にはいろいろな意味がありますが、ここでは「〜読み返す、よく調べる、検討する」というような意味で使われています。
ex: I must write the report within one week. Would you take the time to go over the draft report?
（1週間でレポートを書かなくてはいけないんです。下書きを読んでみていただけませんか？）
Do you have any last minute questions?
「本番前の最後の質問はあるかな？」
"last minute"は「タイムリミットぎりぎりの、土壇場の、駆け込みの」という意味の形容詞で、"last minute shopping（閉店間際の買い物、時間ギリギリの買い物）"、"last minute cancellation（ドタキャン）"、"last-minute victory（土壇場での逆転勝ち）"などのように使います。
ex: I went to mall today to do some last minute shopping and the mall was full of people.
（今日閉店間際のモールに買い物に行ったら、人で一杯だったよ）

Roger: いいや。それは気にしなくていいよ。話題にならなかったことは、明日、市長の声明で補足されるだろう。
Diane: よかった。いろいろありがとうございます、ロジャー。
Roger: どういたしまして。がんばって。
