Chef: Hello. Are you ready to order?
Sally: Well, there’s so much to choose from. What do you recommend?
Chef: The maguro’s good.
Sally: Yeah. I don’t really like tuna. I tell you what, give me an order of tai to start, and I’ll decide the rest later.
Chef: Sure thing. One maguro.
Sally: No, no. I want tai, not maguro.
Chef: Right. Maguro, it is.
Sally: No…I-I don’t like tuna. Look, forget the tai, just give me an order of kappa maki and an order of California rolls.
Chef: Two tekka maki coming up.
Sally: No. I don’t wan t tekka maki.
Chef: No problem. Two maguro.
Sally: It’s the same damn thing! I hate tuna. Why do you keep trying to push it on me? Don’t you have any other kind of fish.
Chef: No.
Sally: This is ridiculous. I’m leaving.
Chef: Come again.

「かしこまりました」
なにかお願い事をされたときのカジュアルな返事として、"Sure thing"をよく使います。より丁寧に言うと"Certainly."。
ex: "Can I have a light?"
"Sure thing."
「ライターを貸してもらえますか？」
「いいですよ」
Two tekka maki coming up.
「鉄火巻2本、いますぐ」
"something is coming up"の形で、「近々〜がある」という意味。このダイアログのように、なにか注文を受けて「注文されたもの＋coming up」という形で用いることがよくあります。形容詞では"upcoming"という形になり、"I can't decide what to do with upcoming holiday"のように使います。
ex: I have this big exam coming up at university.
（大学で重要なテストがもすうすぐある）
It's the same damn thing!
「けっきょく同じじゃない！」
"damn"は、怒り、焦り、失望などを表した罵りの表現で、ここでは形容詞として使われています。よく映画で使われます。
ex) Damn! I've forgotten my key.
（チキショー！ カギを忘れちゃった）
Why do you keep trying to push it on me?
「どうしてマグロを食べさせようとするのよ？」
ここでの"push"は、「強要する」といった意味。"urge me to order maguro"ということです。
ex: I don't care what people believe as long as they don't push it on me
（押し付けられなければ、人が何を信じてたって構わない）
