D: Excuse me. I’m trying to find tea candles. Can you tell me
where they are?

C: Yeah. We have some right over here. These boxes are regular, and
the ones on the top shelf are all scented.

D: Hmm. These are about the right height, but they’re a little big.
Do you have any that are slightly thinner than these?

C: I think so. Let me see.

D: Actually. Wait. Here. I brought one of the glass holders just in
case I wasn’t sure of the size. I just bought this new candle
holder and I’m dying to try it out.

C: I see. Well, from the looks of it you’ll want candles that are
about an inch wide…Here. I think these should do the trick.

D: Oh yeah. These are perfect.

C: Again. We have a choice of regular or scented. They’re all on
these two shelves.

D: Great. Thanks for your help.

I just bought this new candle holder and I'm dying to try it out.

“dying to 〜"「〜をしたくて仕方がない、仕様がない」とういう意味
のイディオム。その他に“chomping at the bit to 〜", “keen as
mustard to 〜", “can`t wait to 〜"という言い方もある。
ex. I'm dying to meet Stephanie's new boyfriend.
（ステファニーの新しい彼氏に会いたくて仕方ない。）

“to do the trick"「目的を達成する、うまくいく」という意味の
表現。trickも色々なイディオムに使われている。例えば、“every
trick in the book"「可能な限りのあらゆる方法を使う」、“not
miss a trick"「どんな小さなことも見逃さない、抜け目がない」、
“the oldest trick in the book"「（怪しいことをするために使う）
誰でも予想できる手段」もある。
ex. Those games didn't cheer Suzie up but this should do the trick.
（そのゲームでスージーを元気づけられなかったが、これなら
　　　　　うまくいくはずだ。）

D: あら、本当。ぴったりだわ。

C: では、普通のものと香りつきのものがございます。全てこちらの二つの
棚にございます。

D: どうもありがとう。
