I think I'll be pretty late tonight.

（今晩はけっこう遅くなりそうなの。）
　　　pretty（かなり、けっこう）は日常会話では本当によく登場する言葉です。
　　　是非この機会に自分のモノにしてしまってください。
　　　Ex) It's pretty cold today, isn't it?（今日はけっこう寒いですね。）
　　　　　The movie was pretty good.（映画はけっこうおもしろかった。）

I don't think that's going to happen.

（無理そう。）
　　　that (あるいはit) is going to happenは「（その直前に話していたことが）
　　　起きそうだ、その通りになりそうだ」という意味。このフレーズも覚えて
　　　おくと便利です。
　　　Ex) We're thinking of getting married one day, but that's not
　　　　　going to happen anytime soon.
　　　　　（いつか結婚するつもりだけど、すぐにはそうならないわ。）

You poor thing.

（かわいそうに。）
　　　Poor you.と言っても同じです。Poor thing.だけなら「あなた」以外の
　　　人に同情していることになります。
　　　Ex) I heard he's been fired.---Poor thing.
　　　　　（彼はクビになったって話だよ。---かわいそうに。）

Now that you can't watch the movie with me, I guess I'll need to spoil myself with this nice-looking French wine, which is sitting right in front of me.

（君が一緒に映画を見られないって言うなら、この、目の前におとなしく
　　　　すわっているフランスワインで自分を甘やかすしかないか。）
　　　now thatは「今や…だから」。now thatを使ったフレーズ
　　　now that things have come to this passも知っておくと便利です。
　　　Ex) Now that things have come to this pass, there's no turning back.
　　　　　（こうなった以上は、もとには戻れない。）

　　　nice-lookingは「おいしそうな、良さそうな」。good-looking（ハンサムな）
　　　は人に対して使うことが多いですが、nice-lookingは普通、物に使います。

Don't work too hard.

（あんまり根をつめるなよ。）
　　　直訳は「働きすぎるなよ」という意味のこのセリフは、オフィスを出る
　　　時に残業をしている同僚に向かって是非言ってあげたいもの。
