W: Wilma
Z: Zach
W: Yum, this hamburger is so good! How’s your pie?
Z: Great! I could probably go another one at this rate.
W: This is a nice little cafe, isn’t it? The garden is lovely,
and you can just sit here and watch the world go by.
Z: Yeah, it is a nice… hey, what’s that guy over there doing?
W: Oh! Is he pushing his car?
Z: I don’t think he’s pushing it – it looks like its rolling down
the hill!
W: Oh my God, so it is! I think he’s trying to unlock it and put
on the brake.
Z: Well, he’d better hurry. It’s heading straight for that house’s
white picket fence!
W: Oh, he’s got the door open… Oooh! Too late!
Z: That’s gotta hurt! And I don’t think the owner of the house
looks too pleased either.
W: No, she’s looking quite pissed off! But how on earth did the
car manage to roll all that way downhill?
Z: He must’ve forgotten to put on his handbrake.
W: And turn his wheels into the kerb. He obviously isn’t from
around these parts otherwise he’d know how to park on hills.
Z: What a wally! I hope he’s got good insurance!

（この分だと多分もう一個いけるかも。）
"could"はこの場合は推量の意味で使われ、「もしかしたら〜できる
んじゃないか」「〜ということもあり得る」という意味です。"another
one"は「もう一つ、おかわり」です。"rate"には「程度、度合い」
の意味があるので、"at this rate"で「この調子では、この分なら」
となります。
Ex: "At this rate, no man will approach you."
（この調子じゃ誰も寄り付かないよ。）
★ I think he's trying to unlock it and put on the brake.
（ドアロックを解除してブレーキをかけようとしてるんだと思う。）
"try to"は「〜しようと試みる」です。"unlock"には「の鍵を開ける、
開く、解除する」「解き明かす、打ち明ける」などの意味があります。
"lock"の逆ですね。"put on the brake"で「ブレーキをかける」です。
Ex: "How come you put on the brake all of the sudden?"
（なんで突然ブレーキをかけたの？）
★ He obviously isn't from around these parts otherwise he'd know how to park on hills.
（明らかにこの辺の出身じゃないね。でなけりゃ坂道駐車の仕方を
知ってただろうからね。）
"obviously"は「明らかに、はっきりと、当前、言うまでもなく、
どう見ても〜だ」です。"be from"で「〜の出身である」という意味です。
"otherwise"は「さもなければ、そうでなければ」「別に、それ以外には」
という副詞です。
Ex: "You better not to go out now Geena, otherwise your father
will get angry."
（ジーナ、今出掛けないほうがいいよ。でないとあなたのお父さん
怒り出すよ。）
★★ What a wally!
（なんてマヌケなんだ！）
"what a 〜!"、感嘆文ですね。"what a small world!"「世間は狭い！」
とか"what a coincidence!"「すごい偶然だね！」などなど。
"wally"は「ばか、あほ、まぬけ」という意味の俗語名詞ですが、
形容詞として「素晴らしい、丈夫な」という意味もあります（スコットランド）。
Ex: "Quit calling me a wally."
（まぬけ呼ばわりはやめて）

坂を転がって行っちゃったんだろう。
Z: ハンドブレーキを引き忘れたに違いないよ。
W: それと車輪は縁石の方に向ける。明らかにこの辺の出身じゃないね。
