「感動しっぱなしですよ」

“be absorbed in 〜”、“be engaged in 〜”、 “be wrapped up in”という言い方もある。

Sweetie, I’ve invited a few people around for tea tonight.

「ねぇ、今夜、何人か食事に招待したんだけど。大丈夫かしら。」

アメリカなどでは “tea” というと「お茶」という意味だが、ニュージーランド、オーストラリアなどでは「食事」という意味もある。逆にお茶に誘いたい場合には、“Do you want a cuppa?”と聞く。“cuppa”は“cup of” の略で “tea”は省略されて特につけなくとも通じる。コーヒーの場合は “Do you want a coffee?”と聞く。
Ex: Sara is coming my house for tea tomorrow.
(セーラが明日、家に食事に来る。)

You’re practically flying through this time

「今回はほんのちょっとしか居ないから」

“fly”は「飛ぶ」という意味の他に「急いでする、慌ただしくする」という意味もある。“flying through” は、帰る早さを表すためこうした表現を使っている。“flying visit/trip” 「短い訪問」、“fly around” 「忙しそうに駆けずり回る、“fly by” 「飛ぶように過ぎ通る」というフレーズもある。
Ex: We made a flying trip through France on the way home.
(帰りに、フランスをちょっと旅行してきた。)

It’ll be nice to catch up.

「みんなと話しできていいね。」

“nice to ~”で「〜できて嬉しい」の意味。 “catch up”には様々な意味があるが、基本的には「追いつく」「取り戻す」いう意味合いが多い。ここでは、「友人との時間を取り戻す」という意味合いで使われている。他に “I’ll catch up.”で「追いかけるよ。」 “We’ll catch up later.”で「また後で。」の意味になる。
Ex:　We have a lot to catch up on.
(私たちは、積もる話がいっぱいある。)

I’m looking forward to meeting some more Kiwis.

「他のニュージーランド人に会えるのを楽しみにしています。」

Ex. I got heaps of presents for my birthday.

「家のすぐ近くにあるの。」

Ex. We’re travelling down under these holidays.

They’ve done it up a lot since you were last here and it looks beautiful.

「最後に帰って来た時からきれいに化粧直ししたから、立派になったわよ。」

“do 〜 up”で「〜を仕上げる」、「〜をうまくやる」という意味。
Ex:　I'm going to do my house up this month.
(今月、家を改装する。)

I can’t wait to see the city.

「街を見るのを楽しみにしています。」

“can’t wait to ~”で「〜が待ち遠しい」「〜したくてたまらない」の意味。待つことができないくらい楽しみにしているということ。
Ex:　I can't wait to go on a vacation.
(バカンスに行くのが待ち遠しい。)
