Liz: Stan? Stan Buckley, is that you?
Stan: Yes?
Liz: It’s me Liz… Liz Starks from Langley High. Do you remember me?
Stan: My god, Liz. I’m sorry. I, I hardly recognized you. You look great.
Liz: Thanks
Stan: Wow, how long has it been? 8 years now? How are things?
Liz: Things are going really well. I moved back here a few months ago. My company transferred me back from overseas. I was working in London for the last 3 years.
Stan: London?! Wow, what were you doing there?
Liz: I work with an investment company called Teddington Inc. They have offices in London; so I was working over there after they first hired me.
Stan: I see. That’s great.
Liz: Well, what about yourself? How’s life treating you?
Stan: I can’t complain. I’m still finishing up my master’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania. I’m back now for summer break.
Liz: Good for you, Stan. Say, I’m on my way to get some lunch. Do you want to come along? We can catch up some more.
Stan: That’d be great.

I hardly recognized you.
「わからなかったよ」
"I hardly recognized you."は、久しぶりに会った人がすっかり変わってしまって、会っても気付き損ねるところだった、という場合に使う表現で「わからなかったよ」という意味です。"I almost didn't recognize you."とも表現できます。"recognize"は、「以前に見た／経験したことがある、と認知する」。人だけではなく、物や出来事に対しても使います。
ex: Although I don't have all the albums yet, I didn't recognize three of the songs they played.
（まだアルバムを全部揃えてはいないんだけど、演奏された歌でわからなかったのは3曲だけだったよ）

「どんな具合？」
"How's life treating you?"で、「元気？調子はどう？」というインフォーマルなあいさつ表現です。" How's life?"、" How's your life?"なども同じ意味です。
ex: You haven't been out here in a while, have you?

I can't complain.
「まあまあだね」
"I can't complain."は、直訳すると「文句は言えない」ですが、「まあまあだよ、そんなに悪くないね」というような意味です。"Not bad（悪くないよ）"と同じで、実際にはかなり満足しているというニュアンスで使われる一種の婉曲表現です。
ex: "How are you at work?"
"I can't complain. Everything is working out, I'm fulfilling my obligations and people appreciate me for what I am."
（仕事はどう？）
（文句はないわ。何もかも順調だし、私はやるべきことをやって、そのことは皆に認めてもらっているから）

"catch up"は、ここでは「最新の情報を教える、話し合う」という意味です。
ex: Why don't you go on up and get some sleep? We can catch up more in the morning.
（上に上がってちょっと寝たら？朝には最新の情報がわかるはずだよ）
That'd be great.
「いいね」
"That'd be great."は、「（そうしてもらえたら）いいね。嬉しい。」という表現です。
ex: "Shall I wrap them separately?"
"That'd be great. Thank you."

Stan: まあまあだね。いまだにペンシルバニア大学で、修士課程を終えようとしているところなんだ。今は夏休みで帰ってきてるのさ。
Liz: すごいじゃないの、スタン。ところで、私、ランチに行く途中なの。付き合わない?もう少し近況を教えあえるでしょ。
Stan: いいね。
