Martin: Hey, have you heard from Robyn lately?
Serena: Nope. I’d been e-mailing her about twice a week for the last few weeks, but she never bothers to reply, so I gave up. It’s been about two weeks since I last contacted her.
Martin: I wonder if she’s busy. It’s been ages since I’ve seen her.
Serena: I have no idea. She’s always been a bit slack about answering mail, and frankly, I’m fed up that I have to make all the effort. If she wants to see me, she’ll have to take the initiative.
Martin: If you take that sort of stance with her, it could be years before you see her again!
Serena: Well, tough! I’ve got better things to do than to waste my time chasing after her.
Martin: Maybe I should drop her a line.
Serena: Well, good luck. You’ll be waiting a long time for a reply!

「さいきんロビンから連絡きた？」
"hear from"は「〜から手紙や電話をもらう」ということ。"recieve a letter from"、"recieve a call from"と言い換えることができます。
ex: We want to hear from you.

I'd been e-mailing her about twice a week for the last few weeks,
「ここ数週間、毎週2回くらい彼女にイー・メールを送ってる」
"e-mail"というのは動詞にもなり、"e-mail someone"で「〜にイー・メールを送る」という意味になります。"-"をとって、"email someone"という形でも使われています。
ex: If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail us at "info@eigoden.co.jp".

If she wants to see me, she'll have to take the initiative.
「もしわたしに会いたかったら、彼女のほうから連絡するべきよ」
日本語でも「イニシアティブを取る」というように、"take the initiative"で「率先して行動する、先手を打つ」という意味。
ex: He took the initiative to solve this problem.
（彼はこの問題を解決するべく率先して行動した）
Maybe I should drop her a line.
「僕がメールを送ってみようかな」
"drop someone a line"で「〜に手紙を書く」ということ。簡単に"send someone a letter"でも同じ意味です。文脈上、ここではイー・メールを送るということ。
ex: Drop me a line. I'm always glad to hear from you.
（手紙を送ってよ。あなたからの手紙はいつもウレシイわ）
