S: Hi, you must be the electrician.

E: That’s right.

S: Well, come on in. I’ll show you what I need done…You can see
here that there used to be a plug here.

E: Oh yes. Okay.

S: Well, I need you to re-install an outlet there, plus maybe one
more right here down. I’m going to turn this room into a den,
so we need extra outlets for the T.V., computer, radio, and all
that stuff.

E: Alright.

S: And then, you can see this room is quite dark…I was wondering
if you could put a light in here.

E: Sure, no problem. I can put a nice florescent panel light right
on this wall for you. How’d that be?

S: That would be great. And then finally, I just need you to
install an outdoor lamp in the back.

E: Alright. Just a sec, let me add this up…Okay, here’s your
estimate.

S: Oh, this looks very reasonable. I’ll talk this over with my
husband tonight and get back to you tomorrow.

E: Great. Just let me know.
