Kelly is on her way to pick up her friend Jim at his apartment. When she arrives she calls him on her cell phone to let him know that she's there.

J: Hello.
K: Hello, Jim. It’s Kelly. I’m downstairs. So whenever you’re
ready just come on down.
J: I’ll be right down. I just have to throw a load of laundry in
the wash and shut down my computer.
K: Take your time…Say, did you return “Anchorman” yet?
J: No, it’s not due back until Thursday. Why?
K: Can I borrow it?
J: Yeah, sure. I’ll bring it down with me when I come down. See you
in a minute.
K: Okay. Bye.

そのまま使える便利なフレーズを覚えましょう。
So whenever you're ready just come on down.
「用意が出来たら、下に降りてきて。」
“come on down" は、「降りてきて、お入りなさい、おいで」という意味。また、“whenever you're ready" は、「（こちらは準備ＯＫなので）いつでもどうぞ」という意味のイディオムになる。
Ex. We're at the pub now. If you're free, why don't you come on down?

I just have to throw a load of laundry in the wash.
「洗濯物を洗濯にかけるだけだから。」
“a load of＋名詞" で「多量、多数」という意味になりますが、ここでは、“a load of laundry" で「洗濯物1回分」という表現になる。また、"load" だけでも「洗濯物」の意味になる。
Ex. I did three loads of laundry after coming back from our camping trip.
（私たちのキャンプ旅行から帰ってきて、洗濯を3回分した。）

「そう言えば、“アンカーマン
冒頭にくる “Say" は、「ねぇ、ほら、ちょっと、ところで、あのね」など、呼びかけの言葉として、思いついた時や会話を始める時に使う。
Ex. Say, did you see the news this morning?
