T: Morning Mitsi!

M: Oh, hi Tom. Has the mailman been yet?

T: I don’t think so, but there’s a pile of junk mail in our boxes.
It must all be those summer bargain sales.

M: They all come at the same time don’t they? Oh, by the way, I was
wondering if you and the family are doing anything this Sunday
afternoon. We’re planning a little barbecue out on the back lawn.

T: Yeah, it is barbecue weather isn’t it? Sounds great! You need an
extra barbecue?

M: I think we should be okay, thanks anyway. But I suppose you and
Dave will want to be operating the barbecue, as men do!

T: (laughing) No no, I’ll leave that to Dave. Well, I’ll give him a
hand. What can we bring?

M: Oh, just bring a plate with any extras you want to eat. But we’ll
have plenty of steak, sausages and all that stuff.

T: Ok, how about if we bring some drinks for the kids, and a few
bottles of bubbly for us adults?

M: Ooh, I wouldn’t say no to that! I’ve just got to pop out to the
shops now, but I’ll talk to you later about it, right?

T: OK, catch ya later!
