Alex and Haley, co-workers, are talking about Alex's recent holiday to New Zealand, during the company's one week holiday period.

H: Hey Alex, you’re back! How was your holiday in New Zealand?

A: Great, but I’m knackered! I’m still in holiday mode. I just got
back yesterday, so I`m still feeling it a bit.

H: You’re looking quite tanned. Spend a bit of time at the beach
did we?

A: Yeah, we did the whole surfing thing. Oh, get this, we were out
in the water one day, and we spotted a shark!

H: Ay? Pull the other one!

A: I swear, the lifeguards called us out of the water and everything!
I fancied having a closer look, but… maybe not such a good idea,
right!

H: Blimey.

A: But I had a great time with the lads. We went out on a few
benders, enjoying the nightlife in Auckland, spotting the local
talent… oops, sorry about that.

H: Typical guy, aren’t you!

A: You’ve met Paul right? Well, he lost his wallet or had it stolen
one night. He was pretty cheesed off. Had his credit card in it
and everything. But apart from that, it was all good, amazing
weather. What did you get up to in the week off?

H: To tell you the truth, sweet FA. Ooh, look, break time’s over.
Back to the grind.

Explanations

Pull the other one!

"pull the other one(, it's got bells on)."

場合は、"Jesus Christ!, Lord!, for God's sake, damned"などの
Ex: My boyfriend swore not to cheat on me anymore.

We went out on a few benders,

go on a bender",

ceremony.

angry", "fed up", "annoyed"などが同意語。
Ex: That new English teacher really cheeses me off!

But apart from that, it was all good, amazing weather.

"aside from 〜"という。"

a good movie.
