Yoko: Oh, it’s a booklet explaining “digital terrestrial television.”

Ken: Digital…what?

Yoko: Digital terrestrial television. You know, the kind of broadcasting that allows for better pictures and some interaction.

Ken: Is that what we have in the States?

Yoko: I think so.

Ken: But why a booklet?

Yoko: Japanese television is switching from analogue terrestrial television to digital terrestrial television. And we all have to get new TVs or antennas.

「アナログの地上波テレビ」はanalogue terrestrial television/broadcastingと言います。television（テレビ）は、「家などに置いてあるテレビ」という意味だと1台、2台、と数えられますが、今回のJapanese televisionのように「テレビというシステム、ビジネス」という意味で使う場合は数えられません。
