Another section meeting
Ted and Brian are talking about Barbara. It has been about a month
or so since she became the Marketing Vice-President, and Brian hates
the way she's running the show.
Brian: Can you believe this?!
Brian: She called another section
meeting. That's the second one in ten days. What's she trying to
do, smother us with proactive power?
Ted: Aw, man, and it's at 1:30.
I've got to go to a meeting uptown at 2:45, and I was hoping to
have all of today uninterrupted so that I could work on my preparations.
This is ridiculous.
Brian: In the month that she's
been VP, all we've done is waste time. First these meetings, and
then her inane office chit-chat, when is she planning to let us
work? I swear god I'm getting dumber just by listening to some of
her conversations. I wish Joy was still around.
Ted: Me too.
Brian: I don't know. Sometimes
I really hate the fact that she's the boss. And then at other times
I think forget it, this is the best she's ever going to do. If she
wants to be queen of the nest, then let her go right ahead. She'll
eventually drive all of us out of the office, and fill it with more
of her sycophantic little drones.
